You might consider dressing to compliment your own best attributes, and I would suggest something feminine. Then I would include only one or maybe two articles of clothing that represents Hot Topic. However, if you are poor and can't afford to get new clothes, I wouldn't buy anything new. But if you can, you might consider that. Your shoes sound good as long as they're in good condition.
