I want to start my own car hop...any ideas?

I would like to start a modern day car hop, but I want it to have a setting/decor of the 1930's-50's. I need ideas for attire, decor, menu options, hours, and anything else you know! Also, a little history on car hops would be helpful, since all I can find on the Internet is Halloween costumes. I know a little on the subject, but any extra information would be helpful. Thanks!
