Do you let your little kiddos dress however they want to to school?

my 5 yr old is starting kindy next month. uniforms are not mandatory. she picks our her own clothes daily and lets just say her daily attire consists of some sort of skirt, colorful tights, rain boots/chucks, colorful top and a whole bunch of accessories....pretty much very funky/colorful. should i make her tone it down a bit for school?
